Due to some last minute conflicts with my husband’s schedule, I travelled to Marrakesh on my own with my 7, 5 and 3 year old. I had booked this tour to see as much as we could outside of the city in a limited time, and it was definitely worth the money. The kids loved the camel ride and had lots of fun with Rachid in the Atlas Mountains. He was incredibly informative, kind and patient. Mostapha was a great driver and even rode the camel with my two older children so I could ride with my youngest. The lunch was delicious and so picturesque! We skipped the final couple hours because the kids were exhausted, but even without the desert sunset this tour was beyond expectation.

All round great experience. We were greeted by a fantastically friendly tour guide who was hospitable and attentive throughout. The scenery was breathtaking and the food was exceptional. The guide was knowledgeable, approachable and most importantly full of enthusiasm and passion. 110% would recommend.

I haven't done any other day trip to compare, but 9.00 to 19.00 with a traditional Berbers breakfast and lunch with a few tea break is very good value for money and our guide were awesome. We were a group of 6 of various age (9 to 70) and enjoy every single minutes of the trip. 1st was the camel (or dromadaires) ride, please be aware that it's only about 15-20 minutes and this is to give you a taste if what it is, but we all enjoy it, them we stop to admire the view of a village that had a synagogue as they were Jewish living there before the Arab. Next stop was at the argan oil cooperative, were we had breakfast, and then we went to the water fall (this will be a good 1.5-2 hours walk altogether, don't worry to much about it plenty of rest and stop). After that we and a traditional tagine that was excellent before heading in the desert for the final stretch of the tour. The return time a guess is depending of the day you choose to have your tour and how many people are there.

The whole day was enjoyable and for such a small cost! Make sure you you wear comfy sensible footwear, as you trek up the Atlas mountain can be slippy. My highlight has to be driving around the agafay desert in the 4x4! Great site to book through! Thank you for the experience!!!

One of the best day trips ever! Very well organized with many different activities including a delicious lunch in a village of the Atlas Mountains! First stop was for camel riding, but keep in mind that it does not take place in the desert as you imagine. Secondly, the mini bus stops to an argan oil shop, where there are some kind ladies who explain how argan oil is harvested and transformed to be used either for cosmetics or for food. Then, the next stop is the village that the tour guide, comes from, where we had the amazing lunch. he is very funny and polite, offered us coffee or tea at his house, where we met his beautiful family! Then we went for hiking, to see the waterfalls nearby! I definitely suggest to wear your sneakers, if you want a safe hiking in the mountain! Last stop was for taking pictures in green valleys before going back to Marrakesh! Overall highly recommended!
