    This ambitious food tour winds throughout two of Boston's most vibrant historical neighborhoods—Beacon Hill and Back Bay—and makes multiple food stops along the way. With a guide in the lead, you can enjoy the flavors of Boston on this specially curated tour, introducing you to restaurants and shops that you may not find in your own. Sit down at a James Beard Award-winning restaurant for a light lunch, taste roasted nuts, chocolates, and baked goods, then finish up with wine, cheese, and dessert.

  • Itinerary

    Tour generally starts at 1:30 p.m. and concludes by 5:45 p.m. Group meets in front of the second floor concierge desk at the Liberty Hotel, which is centrally located across the street from the Red Line's MGH/Charles Street train station. Valet parking is available at the hotel. Guests also have access to a local parking lot and parking garages. Guests must be capable of climbing one hill, and of walking up to two miles. Cost covers all food, taxes, and servers' gratuities. Drinks, for which we're happy to start a tab, or tour guide's gratuity, if guests wish to consider are extra.  We defer to parents' judgment as to whether tour is appropriate for children. Two-years-old and under are free of charge.

     

  • Cancellation Policy

    For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.

  • Know before you go

    Confirmation will be received at time of booking

    Children must be accompanied by an adult.
    Minimum of four guests required for tour to run as scheduled. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
    Tickets are non-refundable, though, guests may transfer tickets to another tour 48 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour.

    It was a fantastic tour through back bay and beacon hill. Lots of information, stories, and a 3 course lunch with many more samples and goodies from other locations. All our guests loved it and we plan to do the other tours. Wonderful. We enjoyed the tour so much we now wish we had booked two days of tours instead of just the one. What a wonderful way to see a new city. The groups are small which means you get your tour guides undivided attention.

    The food was great with lots of variety. It was fun seeing the sites with someone who lives in Boston and again being in a small group. You won't be disappointed! Just remember to do the tour when you first get to Boston so that way you can go back to some of these great places during your visit.

    What a wonderful way to see Boston. our tour guide is a top by her knowledge of the city and also in the food it has to offer. The variety of restaurants and stores visited, was a perfect blend. Visits spread out throughout the afternoon as you walk from place to place. Love that the group was small. Enjoyed meeting and laughing with our new found foodie friends. We will definitely try the other tours offered.

    This tour was a great introduction to Boston! The food was delicious, and there was a variety of great items to taste and places to see. We started with a nice lunch, snacked throughout the afternoon, and ended with a luxurious dessert. I was worried that it would be too much food, but it was the perfect amount. our tour guide was fabulous. She had a lot of fun stories to share throughout the tour. She also knew the various waitstaff, chefs, and other personnel at each shop/restaurant so it felt like we had VIP treatment. We also had discounts at eat shop if we wanted to buy additional items, which was nice. I would definitely do one of their other tours next time I'm back in Boston.
